Thank you for playing such an unexpected yet pivotal role in the origins of Sanibel Saltworks. A simple carbon-footprint activity in your class sparked an idea I never imagined would grow into a full business concept. Even without knowing it, your course helped shape the direction of this entire project, and I’m genuinely grateful for that inspiration. There were many times I wanted to reach out and brainstorm ways to further lower the ecological and carbon footprint of Sanibel Saltworks, but I didn’t want it to create any appearance of a conflict of interest during the course.
